Description:
The professional development experience was created by incorporating the community-identified needs into sessions that focus on development, observation, relationships, and context (the lived experiences and location—social, geographical, and temporal—of the children, families, and caregivers). Dr. Casper and Dr. Hancock contributed activities and an invaluable set of checks and balances, as we wanted to always be elevating the voices of the caregivers and honoring their knowledge and experience.
